Recently I have been suffering from plantar fasciitis. One discovery I have made about this particular injury is that frequently icing of my arches and achilles tendons is essential. I have also learned that the ice treatments as I go to bed each evening significantly cuts down the pain levels experienced the following day.
As it turns out, it is tricky to get ice positioned effectively on the arch and achilles tendon for treatment of planter fasciitis. I have also found it to be a struggle to keep it positioned properly throughout each treatment session. After significant trial and error, I discovered the NatraCure cold therapy wraps that are designed especially for the foot and ankle area.
Each NatraCure has a small gel pack that is attached with velcro to a neoprene sleeve. The wrap is perfectly sized for application around the foot and ankle. I freeze the both gel packs and neoprene sleeves, but they could be separated if freezer space is an issue. Since my plantar fasciitis is present on both feet, I have two pairs of the NatraCure for full simultaneous treatment.
If you are struggling with plantar fasciitis I strongly recommend icing your arches and achilles tendons every day. The NatraCure cold therapy have proven to be the best solution for me.
