Tennis Hits the Books

With all the craziness of 2020, Thanksgiving is the perfect time to remember all the things that we have to be grateful for. This year has tested our patience, resolve, and resiliency. Eventually we will emerge from these trying times stronger and better than when we started. There is no other option.

As many of us are sitting down to celebrate what is likely for most to be a modified celebration of the Thanksgiving holiday, I want to take a few moments to express gratitude to the people that follow this site on a regular basis.

When I started this project at the start of this year, I did not anticipate that it might develop any readership at all. While I will claim that I am writing primarily for myself, beyond a shadow of a doubt the knowledge that I have daily readers has been genuinely motivating. Thank you.

Todays post is celebrating Thanksgiving this year in the most Fiend at Court way possible. I have purchased The WTA Cookbook which can be downloaded directly from the WTA in exchange for a $25 donation. The proceeds benefit the WTA4Love humanitarian campaign. That program supports frontline and essential workers during the COVID-19 crisis as well as food insecurity. I can think of no better way to celebrate this holiday in 2020.

While I haven’t had my copy long enough to try any of the recipes, it is a foregone conclusion that these food items will be gracing the table in the Fiend at Court household in the near future. The personalities of the players who contributed to this effort shines through.

I would encourage others to donate and download their own copy of The WTA Cookbook.
