Why I Returned to Tennis

I am a lifetime member of the National Women’s Tennis Organization (NWTO). Until very recently, that organization was known as the National Women’s Senior Tennis Association. As it turns out the use of the word “Senior” was confusing or possibly off-putting to some of the organization’s prospective members. “Senior” tennis starts at a much younger age than people generally expect.

Tennis Tournament Prize Money Disparities

In a recent interview on the No Challenges Remaining Podcast, one of the “Original Nine” players, Kristy Pigeon, indicated that she thought that the “Battle of the Sexes” movie accurately depicted the events of 1970. Tennis Club Dress Codes

In one of the most shocking developments to occur at Fiend at Court to date, I find myself rounding up part three of a series on tennis dress codes. What started me down this path was a somewhat rare rule on tennis attire that appears in the local league regulations for the Capital Area Tennis Association (CATA) in Austin, Texas.
